    Default Newbie(NW Indiana)

    Hi all!!

    Newbie to the forum, but not to living cheaply.

    Started paying off debts (around $36000 in cards) in October 2000.
    Paying $468/month, got them paid off in March of this year(finally!!)

    Still driving the same car I had back then, paid cash for it.

    Prepaid cell phone, so no bills of any kind.

    Joined up to get some helpful tips and tricks toward saving more money. Plan is to start saving up money for a down payment on a house, which will probably be a fixer-upper somewhere.
