My dad is very difficult to buy for. Last year I got him Planet Earth DVD set, which on the extravagant side for me, but can't think of anything this year. I spoke with his wife today and mentioned that I might make him a blackberry pie. She thought he'd love it.

I got my DH a gold wedding band. We got married in December and we didn't have enough money at the time to get nice rings (we got silver bands cheap on Amazon.com). He is going to be so surprised.

Not sure if I'm getting anything for my Dad since I won't see him Sunday. But if we end up celebrating later I'll get him a CD, DVD or book. He is so hard to buy for.

My Dad loves different hot sauces so I got him a couple of new bottles while at a hot sauce store at the beach last week. I am also making him his favorite lasagna.

This is not very frugal, but will be so much fun...

DS went to a baseball camp at the Arkansas Travelers' stadium, Dickey-Stevens Field this week, and they gave him 4 free passes to the ballgame.

We put the passes in a card along with a night at the Little Rock Embassy Suites for the whole family.

DH will love it, I'm sure because he loves doing things with the whole family, and loves baseball!!!!!!

The whole thing was DS's idea.

Ummm...nothing. We don't really "gift" each other on Mother's day or Father's day. I will make him a special breakfast of French toast, sausage patties, and fried apples. Maybe a little "special attention" at bedtime.

Probably just a card, and his parents will be in town tomorrow night so we'll most likely go out to dinner. We aren't big on getting each other "stuff". For Christmas, we usually just go out and buy something together that we've been wanting and/or needing. Not very romantic, I know.
