We've been at 100-101 degrees with heat indices of 104-107 the past couple of weeks. Today, it's cool--98 degrees.
My A/C is working overtime. Can't wait until the next electric bill.

Warm enough that the heat isn't turned on anymore, but still a far cry from anything I would classify as 'hot'.

It was hot today for the first time in a long time. I'd guess high 80's-low 90's but I don't know. It was hot enough to make this frugal girl buy 2 bottles of water when I was Garage Saleing. I takes a lot to give up my money for the sales.

We've been consistantly in the high 90s all week. Today we went over 100 with a heat index of around 110*. Pretty normal for summers here. We've been running our central air since March will keep runningn it through the end of September or first of October.

We're still quite cool. Running about 70 or so (if I translated to Fahrenheit correctly).

It's been stupid hot here...between 90 and 95 with a heat index of about 100. In the mall parking lot the other day, the temp gauge on Ava's stroller hit 101!!

It was about 70 today. It still stormed, the third day in a row this week... but I don't mind. As long as it doesn't snow, that's ok with me.

It has been really nice here......in the 70's. But we are supposed to cool off and get rainy this weekend. High 60's but we need the rain.
We started our thunder storms earlier than normal........had a dosey last night. Had to bail off here and unplug the computer!

Today and tomorrow it's supposed to be 101 here with a heat index of at least 110. But then Sunday it's supposed to return to normal for this time of year----low to mid 90s.

It is hot AND humid here. The temps have been between 95 and 98 since June 8. With the humidity the heat index has been over 100. I live in Houston Texas and there is a high sitting on top of us. We haven't had any rain in a while and all the plants and grass are dying. We have no chances of rain until NEXT weekend and then it is only a slight chance.
I hate to complain because when it does rain it will probably flood. Our neighborhood flooded TWICE in 7 days in May.Last edited by savvy_sniper; 06-19-2009 at 07:54 AM.
