I'm New to Frugal Village, but Not being Frugal
Hello everyone! I wanted to quickly introduce myself. My name's Melissa. I'm a SAHM to a wonderful 10 month old little girl. I went back to work after 3 months of maternity leave, but two weeks later my husband and I decided I should be home. Without much financial planning (but with a decent nest egg) we went to one income. I vowed to become even more frugal and budget-conscious than I already. I'm happy to report our efforts have meant we haven't noticed much of a change in our lifestyle and we haven't touched our savings!Once we realized where our money was going we realized we had a lot we could cut out!
So....anyway, now I'm here looking for even more ways to be creatively frugal, but not cheap! Please drop me a line and let me know your best tips for saving money! I'm especially interested in household savings, grocery savings and money saving tips for babies.Last edited by MelissaV; 06-18-2009 at 08:33 PM. Reason: grammar correction
