    Default Spinoff: forgetting birthdays

    Ok Ok My parents called today to tell me happy birthday. My mom calls and says you know what your bday was last week.I said yes mama i know it was. She said she was sorry, im like mom dont worry about it. My daddy said please forgive me Gotta love them..

    awww the poor things , they must feel horrible .. lol .. that is easy to do sometimes though They are lucky to have such a forgiving daughter. Happy belated birthday by the way

    My brother is horrible about remembering birthdays...he called my mom yesterday to wish her Happy Birthday and hers was a week ago. I bet your parents feel terrible for forgetting yours. As you said, you gotta love them. BTW, Happy Belated Birthday!

    I knew they'd suddenly remember and be sooooo upset!

    I'm in my 50's and have almost let my kids birthdays go by! On top of that, we have 37 nieces and nephews, 13 siblings, 4 parents still alive, and so I get everybody mixed up. I won't even get into cousins.

    Do your parents have a lot of people to remember? If not, it is probably just their age. My mom puts herself through SOOO much anxiety being afraid she is going to forget somebody.

    Glad they called you. CUTE thee way your mom said "last week was your birthday." Umm---Yeah! (In truth, I have almost forgotten my OWN the last couple of years. DH had to remind me.
