Why Oh Why
Last week we had to get 2 new tires for the van ,others were on its last life and not safe. So today hubby took the grandbabies home, and he has a blow out on the front tire.So he is getting 2 new tires for the front today. So in the last 2 weeks we will have spent $600 on tires. This month hit us hard, Our property taxes, car insurance, life insurance is all due. $1200 plus regular bills.
At least we are safe with 4 new tires/ we have a house to pay taxes on/a car to drive...If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to
people or things.

Well, when my DS was on his way up here to see us today, he was behind a BIG accident that took up north and south highways. He ended up taking an alternate route when he could finally get off the exit. He said it was a huge looking wreck and life-flight helicopters were landing and cop-copters.
Turns out a little 7 yr old girl is hanging on by a thread, and they don't expect her to make it. Her mother and brother are a little better off, not much.
The cause of the accident was a blown tire.
So.....I'm glad you got new ones.______

Nana I think it is time for you to kick Murphy out of your house. He needs to go somewhere else and get off of your back. It seems like when he visits us he makes his mark and then moves his back luck on. We also had to replace 4 tires on our van and get an alignment on the car which was almost $100.00 just for that and then 4 tires on top of that. I know what you mean when you have one of those months. Hang in there and we are here for you.

read Mary Hunt "freedom account"
11% gross to retirement
10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
credit card debt 7500
mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
then live on the rest!
i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.
