It's been a busy month
I've been back at work for 7 weeks now and I still don't feel like I've caught up on any claims, orders or misc. items that noone did while I was gone. We started a claim on a damaged item before I went on maternity leave and the customer got their insurance claim check from UPS about 2 weeks ago. No wonder they asked me how long I planned on staying away once I had Kayla.....lol
This month as been so long and I am so ready for my vacation next week (our annual charleston trip w/ my mom and brother and Joe gets to go with us this time....I can't wait.)
The first of the month Paige had to have oral surgery. She had a mucocele, and it was cause her to slur words and she wasn't eating because of where it was food irrtated it but the day after that the kid ate all she could stuff in....lol
The day after that we had to go to Joe & Angies grandmothers funeral (she was 98 so she got to see a lot of things in her life, including great great grandkids.)
The last few weeks of work have gone by so slow, the internet keeps acting up and I couldn't get this site and a few other to work while I was here so I got readdicted to facebook as it was allowed by our manager. Our home computer has been slow and I've had to call the automated line 3 time in the last month to get Charter to reset it.....might have to break down and get a new modem from them after vacation.
The kids are doing great. Kayla is already eating veggies and she took one heck of a growth spurt. She wore her newborn size clothes til about 8 weeks of age and now she is in 3-6 month sizes at 4 month...lol So much for the 0-3 month clothes that we got her....lol At least my cousins wife is expecting a girl next month so she knows she has a lot of clothes coming her way.
Anyway hope you are all doing well. I'm going to post the link to the pictures we had taken last week in an other thread. Kaylas first modeling job and Paige's 4 year old shots and some of them together.
I'll get it up shortly.

It's like a fluid filled blister in your mouth and most teenage/adults that get them just pop them like some do a regular blister. The Dr. said we could do that, but it'd keep coming back. Her's started about the time I had Kayla, went away and then came back and depending on what she ate it would irritate it even more. Usually for older kids it involves numbing the spot and a small dental tool and the cut it out while you are awake in a chair, but someone Paige's age they have to put to sleep. The surgery only lasted about 15 minutes, but she was in the recovery room for an additional hour (15-20 minutes to wake up and then we were with her for about 45 or so before they let us take her home.)
The oral surgeon said that it could come back, they don't most of the time but there is that possibility. As for what causes it, not 100% sure on that one, what we read on line said its caused by a blocked salivary gland. The reason we went on and had it removed is she basically went from a fairly good eater as a 4 year old to getting full on one or two pieces of food. She would say she was full and then go grab some yogurt, pudding, jello or a popsicle (anything cold or soft) and because it was on her inside lower lip, right in front of her bottom teeth, it was interferring with some of the words she would try to say and causing her to slur her speech.
