    what in the world did he die of?

    He was 50 and died of cardiac arrest.

    Yikes!

    I bet my mom will be crushed. She absolutely adored him.

    I agree TOTALLY. Many people didn't like him, for various reasons, but his talent reigns supreme. He still holds many records...most number one hits on a album, most albums sold at one go.....think it was Thriller....but could have been 'Bad'..... I liked them both.

    Neither did I. I was saddened that Farrah Fawcett passed of cancer as cancer is a very near to my heart illness (My Grandma passed of BC in 95), but when logging into yahoo Jackson was the headline & my jaw hit the floor. I was like "no way" so got on google news to check.
