    My boys LOVE his commercials, particularly the Big City Sliders. My kids call them Billy Burgers, and think that is his name. I heard about this earlier in the day, but don't have the heart to break it to them.

    I read an interview with him and when the reporter commented on his trademark enthusiasm he responded that it was because he really loved what he did. We could all learn a lesson from that.

    Okay. Some of the celeb deaths have not surprised me either because of age or illness. But Billy- this is totally out of the blue. I felt more shock than I did over MJ. My DH and DSs are bummed because they were big fans of the show "Pitchmen". They are always tinkering in the garage and would often say "What would Mr. Mays say about this?" as a way to jump start them when they would hit a road block. Just shocked.

    I lived his work. His commercials are a part of mordern Pop culture. I always giggled at his animosity towards the Sham-wow guy on his show pitch men. I wonder how Anthony Sullivan is going to deal with this and what will happen to the show. There was another pitchman on the show recently showing the plater-grater or osmething like that, woncder if he'd take may's plac on the show. Little billy was one of the camera men on the show too!
