Please send prayers, blessings and positive thoughts to my daughter between 8:30 and 8:45 AM CMT time.
She is racing a 1000m race. If she does well in this race (top 3 placings) she will probably be selected to the Canada Games team, and will have all her training and travel paid for the rest of the summer.
Until now she has had a lot of bad incidents during these trials. The biggest one was she was tipped into the water in the long distance race and so lost all those points. So now it comes down to this last race and so she feels tremendous pressure.
Please send her a lot of positive thoughts if you are here at that time.
Her name is Clara. She is 17.
And she is racing in olympic style sprint kayaks.

SHE MADE IT!!!!!! SHE MADE IT!!!!! SHE IS ON THE TEAM!!!!
She apparently had an awesome race with her personal best time ever, and an amazing start! I so wish I had been there to see her!
I just received the phone call that she made it....of course the "official" announcement will come in a few days but from all our counts she is 3 points ahead of the competitor! This includes the zero points for the race she fell in! So she would have been way ahead!
