Decided to jump in!
OK. So I have been lurking around for a couple of months (especially in the challenges section) and I have finally decided to join. Not quite sure how all this works but ready to give it a try.
I am a single mom of two teenagers and a 10-year-old. I work two part time jobs to keep things going. I feel remarkably blessed to be doing pretty well financially. I have always been careful with my money and am looking forward to the support and encouragement this site seems to offer.
My most recent money goal was to save $10,000 for my EF. Got that taken care of and am now working on saving for new carpet (or at least a hefty down-payment). With one teen off to college in a couple of months, that may be a challenge!
Glad to be here!
