When the system first came out Tidy Cat was giving away the entire system: box, pellets, scoop, pads for free. I got one and followed their directions to a tee on transitioning the cat(s) over to it. However, my cats would have no part of it. I managed to get one to tinkle in it here and there, but neither one ever fully converted.

I really liked the idea of it and wish my cats would have used it. If I ever get a new kitten, I will probably try starting it out using it instead of a traditional litter box and litter.

Is this one of those self cleaning litter boxes?

It is a litter box that uses pee-pee pads and pellets in a specially designed box instead of regular litter. It is pretty low maintenance and I love the concept. But like I said earlier, my cats just would not convert.
