I finally did it & now I'm pooped!
Wow what a weekend!
I decided to see if I could manage to stay home this weekend and not watch tv, surf the net or just relax. Instead...I decided to purge and rearrange the living room. (For those that know me, this is a never ending challenge)
As a result of suceeding - I consider 90% done a success - I am pooped! Heffing and sliding big pieces of furniture across the living room on the carpeted floor aint easy for lil ole me. Now that I've done this, my living room feels 'new' to me and seems to flow better. I guess its helped that my sister has taken her 'stuff' out of there opening up a lot more free space. I feel like I've just moved in!
The only few things I have left to do are remove the unneeded shelving to the garage and find a home for coats once coat weather is back upon us again. For now its bootiful!
Just thought I'd finally document the progress and later this evening after dinner, I'm going to go drop off the 9 garbage bags of 'stuff' that I don't need anymore. Of course I've held back on a few things hoping to sell them online but only a few!2012: The Year Of The Purge!

Congratulations. I really need to do something like that with our living room. It isn't bad, just needs a different look and we can always find something that we haven't used in eons. However, there is no way that I could have done all that without a internet break or the tv on for background noise or a break, if I did, you would find me needing a nice padded room and a lot of soothing pats on the head.

It only took me 2 yrs to get there lol but it did help that my sister removed her boxes of 'stuff' from my home to hers
Now if only I could bottle this spunk to use it on the rest of the house later on

Wow, 9 bags? You were busy. I love how rearranging a room can make it look like a completely different room. WTG.
