    Default Hi there, I'm new to this forum

    I am based in Chicagoland and stumbled upon the Dave Ramsey Show when I bought my iPod and started hearing his podcasts. The message that Dave Ramsey dispenses on his show, FPU and TMM is consistent with my beliefs. I have been brought up with conservative values with respect to personal finance and know no other way than to spend less (actually much less) than what I earn.

    This is the same message my children are also receiving from us. My spouse and I are both on board with Dave's ideas but have yet to implement some of his teachings, namely budgeting. I joined this forum to find more like minded individuals who believe that we, as responsible people, are expected to live within our means.

    Look forward to learning from other members of this forum and do my bit of contribution.
