Mr coffee
I have tried everything from vinegar to soda to clean my mr coffee. Do you think it would it hurt run a pot of bleach water followed by a pot of soda water through it and the a pot of clean water? Our water makes it a nasty mess in the water compartment so I can only imagine what the rest of it is like.

It's not recommended to run bleach through. BUT, saying that, I have done it before and it works great! Just make sure you rinse it out really good!!!

I know they make a cleaner for it but its expensive around here for just one cleaning. I thought I'd give the bleach a try. I just won't make it strong. I just looked in the back and under where the coffee comes out. No wonder the coffee tastes weird. Just running the vinegar through sure didn't help. I could always use vinegar and soda together and make a volcanic coffee maker......ahhh don't think so. lol

I use bleach 2 x a year and my kitchen aid still works like a charm. So yes but make sure you run cold water through several rinses through. I always do at least 5 to be safe.

I think it would depend on what you have in your water that is making the mess. If you have hard water and mineral deposits, bleach is not going to help. Vinegar will dissolve the deposits, but it has to soak for a while, a rinse usually will not do it.
Bleach works on organic matter, like food or hair. It will take food stains off plastic, but not a hard water ring.Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown

I think I would try the vinegar again and let it sit overnight before I ran it through. I think bleach will eat away at the inside(hose). Whatever you decide to do good luck and let us know how it comes out. That blueberry cement sure sounds an awful lot like a drink we use to give away when I was a bartender, it would curdle in your mouth like cottage cheese HEHEHE. I'm assuming yours wasn't anymore pleasant, but thanks for the giggle.
