    Default Just spent $1000 in 15 minutes.....grrrr!

My refridgerator finally died today. We have been expecting it to happen sooner than this actaully. I did all me research on line and then went to Sears, walked right to the one I wanted and bought it. I was in and out of Sears in 20 minutes. The only problem is that it won't be delivered until next Wednesday. Thank goodness we have another fridge in our garage. It's small but works great. We also have a stand alone freezer out there too. I hate spending the money but I am excited to be getting the fridge I have been wanting for the last 6 -7 years. It has the freezer on the bottom! I can't wait until it is delivered. The best thing to is that I paid cash for it. My EF took a hit but I'll slowly rebuild it again.

I have the freezer on the bottom and I love it!!! You go into the refrigerator so much more than the freezer.

~Congrats on getting the one you wanted!
I've been hoping for a fridge death myself since the one I'm using is so tiny. It's almost 10 years old and since the top shelf is eye level with my 4 year old I have to be on my knees to find anything in there.
I'd love to have one that is all-fridge and place it side by side with my upright freezer but have you seen how expensive all-fridges are?!!!? Crazy.
I'll probably get a bottom freezer too. Which model did you get?~

I know you said you were not interested now, but to let you know because I'm looking for a freezer now; an all refrigerator at Sears is $480. Kenmore brand is 20% off this week.

Mine died about a month ago and we made due with the tiny one in the camper for two weeks. What a pain to have to run outside every time you needed something! I was lucky enough to stumble onto a place that sells new and used things and I got a really nice used side by side for 225.00! I didn't really want a side by side, there just isn't enough room in the fridge part and I have two freezers but I needed a fridge desperately and the price was right!

Congrats on getting just what you wanted and paying cash! I've paid cash for a hot water heater and fridge in the last month and just paid off my washing machine today and it feels great!

That's great, it is so nice to be able to walk in and buy what you need and not have to put it on credit. You worked hard for that feeling ENJOY IT
