We have a natural gas furnace so thankfully we dont have to fill a tank all at once. Our gas bill in the dead of winter in Michigan is between 80.00 and 120.00 a month . In the summer its almost nonexistant . I pay all year though so we start out with a nice fat credit.

That's a great price. I hope the prices stay down for awhile, at least until we can afford to get our tank filled for Fall, which is hust right around the corner. I swear it feels like I just blinked and Summer is almost over.

I filled up my LP in March. Last fill of the year cause I only have a 100 lb. tank that is for a small fireplace (which heats my house wonderful and 100 lbs. go an incredibly long time!!)
I love it. It replaces my heat pump and I save tons of money....especially on those super cold nights that a heat pump can't handle and it clicks on the electric heat...woof! then the bill jumps up high....but with the fireplace I don't have that problem any more.
Last I paid was $2.16 per lb. in March......in Dec when I got a fill up it was about $3.29 --I didn't like that price....LOL
You are so right, now is the time for filling and locking in lower prices. Fall and winter is right around the corner, and this summer sure didn't feel like a great summer at all and it isn't even Aug yet and I feel let down..HA HA
