Waiting on news for car repaires
STINKS!
Dds car overheated twice and there is no way on Earth DH and I will let her drive home 3 hours away to where she lives.
She won't have any money for car repairs so we will have to deal with that bill. Oh well, what can you do?
I just hope it is something small
but I have a baddddd feeling lol!

in may we put $2000 in our daughters car, and then was advised by the foreign car specialist to get rid of it, they (the manufacture) had used bad parts on that year of car..and since she had had it for 2yrs and we had put $1500 into it the first year, well, lets just say sayonara, baby....so now she has had to purchase a newer one....ugh, and needless to say, we didn't recoup any of that money....sigh.....good luck!!! Have been missing you on here....

Dont panic yet it may just be that the thermostat is not opening up and that will cause overheating or the water pump may be bad these are both inexpensive repairs it could just be a hose even if ti is a radiator problem that is not very expensive. overheating cars are usually a minor problem You may wonder how I know these things well I have had more than my share of crappy cars lol. Keep your fingers crossed sending good vibes your way

It's always something, isn't it. Hopefully it's nothing major and not too expensive to repair.

The fan wasn't working so they fixed it and changed her oil and rotated her tires for under $200. Not a big deal..whew!

Wow that's not bad. Glad everything was able to get fixed and without the high price tag.

Car repairs are just the worst......then it is the debate about whether it is going to start nickel and diming you so dump it, or pay, gamble and keep it.
Good luck........hope it is just something minor...maybe a leaky hose or something? hope....hope....hope.......
