When will it ever end, now surgery
Ok last night i was really sick had to go to doctor. Think i passed a kidney stone. I had not been feeling well for a few days. This morning. Went in my lipase and amylase is high again, (pancreas) They just relased me from this in the 14th. Im a health eating plan proper foods, very low fat or fat free, following a dieticians orders.
Now i have blood in my urine and feel like i have the flu. Im getting my self depressed. They checked i have a prolapsed bladder, I had a hystrectomy 18 years ago, they said then over time this would happen,so there is where my lower back pain , blood in the urine, pain down the leg is coming from. Plus if i drink a glass of water. I have to make sure im next to a bathroom, im 41 live in 100 year old body, im just sick of being sick. Im trying my best to get healthy. So on the 6th of august got talk with Uriologist and within a few days after i will have to have surgery to lift the bladder back in place, has anyone had this?? Sorry im in tear, im getting so depressed. If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal. Not to
people or things.

I had a friend who had this surgery if it is what I think it is. Is it called a "bladder suspension"? Hers went very well and she is fine several years later. You should however make sure you have an experienced surgeon in the field so that you can avoid as many complications as possible. Hers was also a result of a hysterectomy. Good Luck and feel better soon!

Yea I have to go to a speacialist that deals with this type of issue, my sister told me some horror stories. They have a new technique now, its a mesh material, kinda reminds me of a lemon bag or onion bag but very strong and they put your bladder in that pull it up and then tack it. Before they would just pull it up. Ouch. Dont know about you, i would rather have nothing at all then to have somthing that might rip away. They also mentioned i might have endometriosis, since i had it pretty bad in and out of my uterus when i had cervical cancer..18 years ago.

I just wanted to say I'm sorry you're going through this. I haven't had the same thing, but did have terrible, untreatable bladder pain for over a year. I know how discouraging that much pain can be. I hope your troubles will be over after the surgery.

A friend's daughter had to have a hysterectomy, bladder lift, reconstructive surgery, and tummy tuck due to previous ob/gyn/butcher who did three c sections on her and massive weight loss. They used the mesh for the bladder lift. I was there when the doctor explained it. It sounded great!

Oh Nana, I am so sorry. I never heard of a prolapsed bladder because of a hystrectomy before. I had mine 15 years ago so I hope that it isn't something common! I will be saying prayers for you and sending hugs across the miles.

I'm sorry you have to go thru this.... but rest assured it isn't uncommon. Many women suffer from a dropped bladder. I think a common symptom of it is leakage.
I have 2 close relatives & a close friend who had this surgery. They are as good as new! I'm crossing my fingers that you will be, too!
