    Default New from B.C.

    Howdy!

    I am a former city boy, now definitely a country boy. My wife and I live on one of the Gulf Islands off Canada's west coast. We are learning to be more self-sufficient, and to buy locally whenever possible. Also learning to grow most of our own veggies.

    We have lived here for four years now and love the community. I find it pretty cool that I have more friends and neighbours that I know in a community of 1000 than I did in a city of 1,000,000.

    I telecommute to work two days a week.
