    Default Thank you Frugal Village

I don't normally start threads (Im kinda shy like that) but I had to say Thank You for showing me the value of an Emergency Fund no matter how big or small.

I need transmission work done on my car. Normally hubby can do a lot of mechanical work but this particular thing he doesn't have the tools or equipment and we have to take it to a mechanic....GULP!!

However, because I have a small emergency Fund I don't have to freak out wondering how to rob Peter to pay Paul and what I might not be able to pay from this paycheck.

I just have to replenish the EF. Thanks again folks, had this been two years ago, I don't believe I would be feeling as confident.

LOL, thanks. I will definately try my hand at starting more thread as appropriate.

As simple as the concept of an Emergency Fund sounds, it isn't one that I would have necessarily thought of on my own, hence my huge thanks .

That is really great news LMH.

Saves on the nerves and you are learning a valuable lesson. All win-win........well, except the car repairs....UGH.

    Good luck.

Great job of being able to save and not touch the money until you really needed it.
