    Default Warning, don't eat Cashews

That is if you can't stop at a few. I couldn't and I think I gained 2 pounds. Darn nuts are so good and once you start, it's hard to stop.

I have to put them into food saver bags and freeze if I want to keep my hands out of them around for more than a weekend.

Though I love cashews, macadamia nuts are my weakness!

    Now I'm hungry...

ANYONE HAVE NUT TREES ON their property?

I know in NC I can grow walnuts and pecans. Hate pecans but never planted a walnut.

    Hmm...time to look into this!!

Yes! I eat more nuts now, as snackage, trying to keep my blood sugar down. You have to watch it, I've found!

Cashews: 6-8 of them (depending on their size) = 100 calories!! I was downing handfuls!! That changed.

    Plus, 5.00 for a can/plastic tray. Yikes.

I've got several bags of shelled pecans in the freezer from our trees. Hubby had me roast some the other day--I think I'm going to have to have him hide them from me. Everytime I pass by the jar I'm too tempted to grab a handful.

I think I may be the only person on earth who does not like cashews. I leave all of them in the mixed nuts can for DH to eat.

I like peanuts in the shells at my kids ballgames. Wife always has walnuts in a bag in the kitchen, they taste ok, but I don't bother.

It's really funny when the wife gets on a kick, as we have lots of blackwalnuts, she'll go out get a 5 gallon can, leave the rest for the squirrels, then bust them outside for the next 2 years when she is baking.

Aw that must be why I leave those english walnuts alone, so she won't have to do it.

Yeah cashews, if I never eat another in my life I will be happy. Like most I like the buggers, but, can't stop, so I don't start
