Not right now, but at various times over the last decade or so I've gone out and gotten work when we've had an emergency, or a problem.
And I'll probably be going back to work once the kiddo is grown and gone, otherwise I might lose my mind with boredom.

I hope to never go back.
Of course I work a farm and make good money so I guess I am sahm that works...LOL
I don't want a real job again where I have a boss. I worked my whole life and when I got this chance to stay home with Nicole and make money, I jumped on it.
I can always find things to keep me busy. I won't be needing a job for that...HA HA....but only way I would go back to work is severe money shortage and it would have to be very very bad.

I routinely apply for jobs and if anything comes up I may take the opportunity. I'd prefer to stay with Ava and take care of the house, but a little extra money wouldn't hurt either

I went back to work after being a sahm in April. I was working fulltime as a cook at a daycare. The hours were good but there was no flexibility. I found that out when my kids got sick. I now have another job lined up for when school starts and I will be a food service worker for the school district at my kids' school. It will only be 20 hours a week but the benefits are insanely awesome. I think things will be a lot more balanced even though the paycheck will be much smaller. Plus now I have my foot in the door so I can move up over time. It's a good place to work.

I am a SAHM who will be back in the work force this Saturday... I dont want to BUT we could use the money, plus it's at a store I like so things work out both ways. I am setting a limit though, I dont want to work more than 25 hours a week AND I want to go to real estate school to become a real estate agent so I can't work too many hours and go to school (it is about a 1 hour drive each way).

I went back to work for a couple of seasons to help w/ medical bills, xmas and xtras. I missed the kids and eventually got incredibly bored w/ the job. The hours were good but in the off season i couldn't stand just standing around. My DH and I agree that we save much more w/ me bargain hunting and concentrating on our $$$ then working a junk job that
cost tax bracket dollars and wear and tear on the car.

I went back to work part-time one year ago. I work at a medical office doing front office work. My boss is my neighbor and his wife is my good friend. I only work 4hrs/4days a week.
Since the economy has worsened, we went for a long time without much income, savings only lasted a year, so now debt. So, I'm trying to work it off right now.

I went back in 2007. I work summers at a campground. I work weekends from April 1 to May 1 or 15(depends on the year) and then I do full time until Labor Day. Then it's back to two or three days a week until the end of October and laid off through the winter. I HATE working and being away from my family and especially from the kids in the summer! As soon as we are totally caught up I will be giving up the job to stay home once again!
There are no jobs in my little area in winter and by the time I drive 40 minutes to the next town for minimum wage I wouldn't be making anything. So I cut way back and do the best we can during the winter!S

If day care cost wasn't so high, I would be back working. So I am sure in the near future.

I went back to in August 2007 for a school for handicapped children. I work 8-3 full-time benefits, lower wage though, summers and holidays off with pay. I needed to help pay for medical and college bills.

I am looking at going to school for something, maybe a pharmacy tech. I need to get back to work to afford the grocery bills. My guys are eating us out of house and home.

My husband is military so his job is pretty secure. Our middle child is out of preschool and I've cut back on all the ridiculous after school activities and lessons they were doing, so our expenses have gone down a decent amount too.
We're fortunate in that he makes a good living doing what he does, but it also means that any hourly wage I pick up with my limited skills and very limited availability would be piddly in comparison and totally not worth the effort and inconvenience to my family.~Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.~

I taught preschool from the time my dd was born until she went to school. She went right along with me and the child care was free. If you are just interested in part-time, the easiest job to pick up is an afternoon shift, filling in after the morning teachers leave. Yeah, dd had quite a few colds, but by the time she got to kindergarten, she had a great immune system and never missed school, while all the other kids were out sick. Daycares also usually need van drivers and substitutes.
