    Question Garage sale ?

I am having my garage sale and I was wondering how much cash on hand I should have? Also in what denominations...ie. how many $1, how many $5, how many $10, how many $20, penny, nickle, dime and quarter rolls. Thank you. Take care and God bless.

I really think it depends on what you are selling...tons of little things or a few high ticket items or a mix. Regardless, we have $100, 3 rolls of quarters, 50 ones, 2 fives, and ten. It worked pretty well for us. We had a pretty good mix at our sale, a few $20 items, kitchen wares, and tons of clothes.

    $10 in mixed change
    1 or 2 - $10
    3-4 - $5's
    20 - $1's

This is what I normally start with, my starting bank varies some.

Good luck - we made $300 last weekend off of a lot of small stuff... nothing was priced over $10, so we did sell a lot.
