Default Purchased Jewelry - Mood Ring

Ok, at the convenience store that I get my newspaper at, I saw mood rings on sale. They are just a band. Not the ring with a round glass "stone" on it that I remember as a child. It cost a whopping $1.99. So I purchased one. Another woman was there about my age and she said she purchased one also. The guy at the register apparently didn't know how they worked. He was getting interested in them when I explained how they worked.

So right now my color is blue. It will probably go black when I go back to getting the computer to work properly. LOL

So has anyone else either purchased or seen something lately that brings back childhood memories. You know how everything comes back into style again? Although I wonder if pet rocks will make a come back.

Amazon has some the regular 8 ball and some variations like the sarcastic ball, the affirmation ball, the therapy ball.
Just search Amazon for magic 8 ball and you can see all the different ones.

I wonder if the Hanna Montana one has different answers or the standard ones. Hmmm What do you know, I just checked and it says it does have Hanna Variations of the original. LOL

Rock-Em-Sock Em robots was at Big Lots a couple years ago. The kids stared at my DH and me while we laughed and laughed.
I always hated my mood ring because it was always black.Once in a while
it would turn blue. I wish someone had told me it was about temperature. i was such a stick as a kid.

I remember mood rings! I liked the little stones in them, it was almost like "real" jewelry, lol.

geckoace, I am finding the mood ring to be a really pleasant distraction. I figure $1.99 is a really cheap price to put me in a happy mood. My ring has not turned black yet. I remember the one I had as a kid was always black. I completely forgot about pogo sticks.
