Digital Camera's...
DSO and I have saved up a couple of months for a digital camera and we were looking for reccommendations. Most of the websites that we have been on have raved about every single one of the cameras.
What's your camera?
Would you reccommend it?
What are the pros and cons of it?
Thanks in advance guys!!

Hard to rec. a camera when you didn't say what you were looking for......what you will use it for....etc. If I rec. mine it might not be what you will need.
Here is good website that has gobs of reviews by eveything from the pros to the beginners........I have used it and like it.

I purchased a Fuji E900 2 years ago..its a point and shoot...wonderful small camera..great pics..easy to use and while it was 360 dollar normally I got it for 68 dollars when a shopping channel on cable went out of business.
I also have my dream camera...Canon Rebel..again I saved and saved but do not regret this purchase..cost me 450 dollars and you have additional costs for larger zoom lens..
This camera does it all...
If you are not in a hurry wait for BF....cameras can always be picked up for half what you will pay now..

Everyone I know has some version of the Canon Powershot. They're easy to use and take great pictures; we're very happy with ours (and so is my Dad, and my daughter, and my cousin, and my other cousin...)

Love, love, love my camera. It is a Sony Cybershot. Takes FANTASTIC pics with little to no effort on my part. I've even taken pics at night with it, and they come out as if it were mid-day! It has a video capability, but I think it is just 3 minutes or so. I once recorded a snail laying eggs inside my aquarium. Shooting video through glass and water, and it came out National Geographic-worthy!

Downsides? Not good at taking close-up detail shots. However, I bought some magnifying camera lenses when I wanted to take some pics of jewelry, and the pics came out very well. Not professional-quality, though.
Every pic I have posted on this site has been with my Sony.DH aka Mad Hen

Here's a neat article I saw...not so much specific recs as it is neat tips of what to look for/what to factor into your camera decision so that it suits YOU.
