Please pray for my husband
Hi, I have been posting for a while now, we have had many things going on, an inheritance from my uncle, paying off all my bills, in the process of buying a new home. In all this madness I was aware that my husband was sick, two trips to the doctor. i was not really worried I thought he would be ok. Last Sunday I had to take him to the Er he was not getting better after two rounds of antibiotics. Pneumonia, that was bad enough but now they found a mass in his left lung. They say it is in a really bad spot so they want to send him to another hospital downtown Detroit where they can biopsy it better. He has been a 2 1/2 pack smoker for 40 plus years. They say the mass is the size of a fifty cent piece. We don't know what it is but it is not good. I am very afraid and scared. I have started reading a lot and everything I read makes me more and more scared. Please pray for us. Diane

My most sincere best wishes for you and your husband during this difficult time.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

You and hubby will be in my prayers.

My mother goes to Beaumont, and it is a good hospital but I am a little down on it at the moment. This spring she had colon surgery to remove 24 polyps. She developed Peritonitis, so they had another surgery to clean up the mess they left from the first surgery, she then caught MERSA, VRE, and another staph type infection on the floor. She almost died. Twelve days ICU and another operation. In all 4 months inpatient three surgeries and a lot of bad memories. I know it was not all their fault but I saw a lot of bad stuff going on. Nurses not following infection control, etc. I wrote a letter to Beaumont about the things I saw. They were interested so maybe things will improve. At the present My husband's HMO is with Henry Ford Hospital. He was in HF Wyandotte and now he is going HF downtown. I want to pull out of our HMO and take him to University of Texas hospital. Suppose to be the number one Cancer hospital in the US. But he says wait and see first. I am praying hard. Diane
