I agree with Frugalwarrior...keeping them clean is a priority. My kids are in their twenties and they still don't keep their contacts clean like they should. My daughter got acute red eye from not keeping the case clean and changing her contacts like she knew she should. It almost cost her her eyesight. Her excuse was that she didn't have the money to keep buying contacts (she lives on her own) and refused to wear her glasses. My son is just lazy. If your daughter is not one to know the importantace of changing the contacts regularly and not sleeping in them, I wouldn't take the risk, but if she is responsible it might be worth a try.
