Hi from San Francisco!
Hello,
I recently moved out of my parents house, and into a place in San Francisco. Needless to say, it's been a lifestyle change, because when I lived with my parents I never had to think about how my money was spent, but now my income barely covers my expenses so every penny counts. I've joined here to pick up any tips I can, and share what I've been doing so far to save money. I look forward to gaining some great insights!

Howdy, neighbor.
SF can be a very expensive place to stay, especially if you are actually in the city, but the experience is worth it!

Welcome to another No. Californian! I lived in SF for four years when I was in my 20s. It is expensive, mostly so because of all the great restaurants!! If I had saved what I spent on eating out, I could have purchased my house outright! (I'm exaggerating, but still . . .)
