I pour cream of mushroom sauce over boneless pork chops and let them simmer all day. Serve with rice. Delicious! Congrats on the upcoming arrival!

There are several cookbooks out there that focus on crockpot-only cooking. I've actually been eyeing one lately that is solely dealing with gluten-free diets:

It's on sale right now and it'll help you out a lot. Good luck!Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Crockpot Mac and Cheese
8 oz. macaroni, cooked and drained
1 stick margarine, melted
1 can evaporated milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all this in crockpot, top with 1 cup shredded cheese. Cook on low for three hours. Do NOT remove lid during cooking!
I love beef roast/stew meat/cut up strips of steak(and venison too) in the crockpot with cream of mushroom soup. I serve with mashed potatoes! Tomorrow is the first day of school and this is what ds requested for dinner LOL.
I also cook dried beans in the crockpot. I put in pintos and cover with water, add salt and some raw bacon or ham lunchmeat and cook all day!S

BBQ Pork
1 pork butt (or shoulder) roast I prefer boneless
1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix
1 cup water
cook for about 6-8 hours
Remove roast and shred the meat, you can serve this way or throw some in a saucepan with some bbq sauce and just warm the sauce through. I cook seperately because I find that the BBQ sauce scorches in the CP even on low and some in my house like it w/o the BBQ sauce. Either way is fantastic on baked potatoes, I like to serve the BBQ version on rolls that I make using a challah bread recipe.Mom to:
