Hi from PA
How did you hear about frugal village?
Google search for debt reduction forums.
What interests you here?
I am at the very beginning stages of getting my money situation under control. I'm looking for a place to talk about it, get advice, and see that others are dealing with or have dealt with the same issues.
What will you contribute?
I'm a good cheerleader and advice giver (even if I can't follow my own). I have a good sense of humor, patience, and a positive outlook. Hopefully I'll contribute a little of all of that.
Do you know any other members here?
Nope.
How many kids? Ages?
Three - almost 9, just turned 7, and 18 months.
Tell us about yourself.
I'm a homebody with close family ties. I'm pretty good with crafts and learned how to crochet recently. I'm really excited about this year's mostly homemade Christmas. I've lost 10 pounds this summer, first through grueling daily workouts, then by just eating right. I have a ways to go, so I hope I can keep it up!
Do you own any pets?
We have a cat who was named Stevie when we rescued her, but she's known around here as Kitty (or No, No, Kitty! if you ask the toddler.)
Occupation?
Learning Support Teacher
Married or single?
Married
Interests and hobbies?
Crochet, geocaching, local history, weight loss, reading

I've seen some great challenges in sigs, but I can't find them on the boards. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
And hi, fellow PA-ers. I'm from the north west corner, south of Erie. On boards full of people from PA, it's rare that there's more than a couple of us from the nw.

Hello and welcome to the village from upstate NY. I have family that live in NW Pa. and I have a brother that lives about an hour east of Erie on Chautauqua Lake. Hamot hospital is where he had his open heart surgery. I really like the Erie area. Glad you joined us and I am sure you will enjoy the village and the village will enjoy you.
