    Default Has any one driven the Alcan Highway

    Next spring I will be driving to Alaska and will have to cross the border and take the Alcan Highway wondering if any one here has driven this highway and if you have do you have any tips or advice. Thanks

    I have. The road is under perpetual repair. We had a metal rack on the back of our motorhome to store things in and all the bouncing cause the back of the motorhome to separate! We had to stop and have it welded. Be sure everything is in tip top repair!
    Buy this years copy of "Mileposts" too.
