Hey guys, it's me, Royal!
Well after a very emotional summer I am back. I have been reading for the past 2 months but not contributing. We had a very rough summer but I am feeling better everyday. I am a very strong woman and God has been very good to me and my family the past few months. This summer I (we) have spent all our savings. That was pure to satisfy our materiaal "needs". The good thing is we didn't create 1 cent of debt. But where as we had a few thousand euros saved, we now have 50 euros in our savings account. Oh well! We are now starting up again. I just want to say hello to everyone here at FV and hope to be contributing once again.

Welcome back!!! We used all of our savings for summer vacation and entertainment too- but no new debt. I don't feel guilty because our family needed a vacation badly and it helped us to recconect. Maybe we can try a "stay cation " next summer.....No worries.

Well, aren't you glad you had that money saved up? What a testament to the importance of an emergency fund. You were able to meet your needs and did so without incurring debt. You said you are starting again; I hope that means that the worst of it is over and that you are can build the savings back up.
