    Smile New from S.E Indiana......

Hello to all. I actually came upon this site b/c someone on the Backyard Chicken site that I frequent posted a link for it. From what I have seen so far it looks like a great site to be apart of. I'm looking forward to learning alot from everyone. I am currently a sahm mom to 5(married 19 yrs)...an 18, 17, 13, 9 and 3 1/2 year old. I just started to homeschool all of my kids this year (what was I thinking?). We live a very simple life by many standards, no cable, no cell phone, no regular tv programming (thanks to our local stations switching to an analog (sp?) system.
We have 9 dogs, 9 cats, lovebirds, English angora and netherland dwarf rabbits, 20+ chickens, a chinchilla, peafowl and 2 peachicks. We are hoping to get a pair of goats and a bee hive in the near future. Someday I hope to have a very eco friendly 'mini farm' where we might be able to hold tours and teach the upcoming generations about composting, reusing rain water, organic gardening and farming etc.
I am busy like most moms but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
