I think it is going to be a bad sick year here
It is off to a bang already!
Son has missed his first day of school in two years. He is crying because he can't go. ( No fever - very cold temp in fact with runny nose, congestion, sore throat and cough)
Hubby was sick all weekend and called in sick today. (Hubby had/has the same thing but with a fever and a headache)
When the kids went into the doc for check ups before school started she said she thought it was going to be a bad regular flu year because not a single person came in their clinic with the flu last year. So she was guessing this year would a bad year.
My kids hadn't been to the doctor since their last check up.( a full year without a doctor visit)
Sigh, it is September and sick already.
Looks like she might be right.

I was sick also this weekend also. Sinusitis, scratchy throat and a little nausea. Lasted about 3 days. Better today.
Hope your family feels better. I think you're right." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

people or things.
