Default Is it fall yet where you live?

Here at the beach, the leaves are still on the trees, no change in color, mornings are cool, afternoons are hot. The a/c runs in the late afternoon. The ocean water is getting cooler....too cool for me.

    How about your area?

Not here. It's still quite warm, even at night. The oddest thing is it's the wettest September I remember. We've gotten about 7.5 inches in the last 6 days and we are eagerly awaiting the sunshine.

Yes. Fall like weather here in the northeast. 58 degrees this morning, will be 75 this afternoon though. One of my favorite times of year.

It is not really fall, BUT it isn't in the 90's much. AND we are SUPPOSED to get a little front Tuesday that won't change the high's much (mid to high 80's) BUT the lows at night will get down in the 60's.

I have started opening doors and windows in the morning until about noon. Then I have to close things up and turn the A/C on. It has been a really hot summer here and my last three electric bills were almost $400, almost $300, and the most recent was around $250.

Nope. Too far south - we don't really have "fall" here... of course, "winter" lasts a whole month & 1/2 and that's Jan/Feb.
It is getting darker earlier & the sun isn't coming up quite so early though - and the highs are ONLY in the mid - 80's now...

It's been in the lower 80's here and very nice. Trees still green, and grass is greener than it has ever been this time of year. Guess that's from the lower summer temps.

Yes it is fall here. Some of the trees are just starting to turn color. Really had a short summer here since it was so rainy. But I am enjoying the nice cool air. Love having the windows open.

Fall is poking me, teasing me.. tinging the leaves on the trees. Breathing cold air in the evening and drawing the shades on my much-too-short summer. Last winter was harsh and brutal, this spring well into summer was unfairly cool and wet, and now Fall is making it's presence known. I do love the season, it is my favorite, but I know too well what comes after it. Two-feet of snow in a single snowstorm and heating bills through the roof. Winter is not easy here, but little does it know - this year, I am prepared. Who is smirking now? Bring it on Fall, I love you with the cold nights and warm days, colorful leaves and alllllll those pumpkins. I just wish winter wasn't hot on your heels. I've been conditioned to dread winter for so long I have to keep reminding myself that this winter, I am not unprepared, it's ok. Maybe this winter I will buy a pair of mittens and join the kids outside. Maybe this winter I will have a love/hate relationship with it instead of hate/hate... maybe I will actually enjoy it for a change.

The leaves on my dogwoods are beginning to turn red. Some of the other trees have a few yellow leaves and they're beginning to fall. The temps at night are in the mid to low 60's. Even with the rain this week, it's pleasant out.

It's still warm enough to wear shorts but the leaves are falling off of the trees. I refuse to accept that Fall starts next week. We didn't have much of a summer here and I'll take warm weather until Christmas.

Could you send some of that rain our way! We have had some of our warmest weather of the whole summer in September and it REALLY, REALLY dry here. Lots of corn fields drying up. Hate to see what it's going to do long term to the poor trees. Lots of evergreens starting to turn brown.
