New Gal on the Block
I am so excited to find this board, I'm a simple married lady with two grown kids, two SIL's and two grandkids, plus 8 more little kids that are in my home 11 hours a day, I'm a home daycare provider!
I can't wait to meet all of you and learn as much as I can about being frugal and simple! My dh and I just paid of $60,000 in debt in 4 years, so I'm pretty good at being frugal, we never intend to borrow money again for anything!
Happy Simple Living!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and as far as paying off our debt, we worked our butts off, did without the "normal" things that we once thought was normal, such as going out to eat, buying stuff we didn't need..just because we "wanted" it. We were also given $20,000 from my dh parents after their death, so that was put toward our debt. We ate lots of beans and "taters" LOL, but you know what, we continue to live like we did for the 4 years, and we are the happiest we've ever been. Oh, and we cut up ALL our cc, and do not even have one in our wallets. CASH Baby CASH!!
I hope ya'll have a blessed day!
