Congrats! Our upright just arrived yesterday (20.6). Enjoy stocking up on bargains! We have a small one but I had wanted a bigger one. I couldn't turn down the organic beef for processing cost.

I think a freezer pays off fast! Have fun stocking up!

Mine is full of meals for autumn, but I can FIND all of them!!

Have fun - and don't forget to thank God for the blessing of living in a land of such abundance that we even have things such as freezers to store the overflowing goodness He sends us every day!!

OMG!!! dh just went this am and bought 50 lbs. of chicken legs on sale (today only) for 49 cents lb. he went and cut them up (thighs to bake, and legs for soups/stock) he is like a kid in a candy store. we had bought hamburger yesterday for 1.88 a lb./85 percent lean which is way cheap over here in my neck of the woods...he went back and got more!!

i can actually know what i have in the freezer now....instead of having to take things out waaaaaaaaaay in the back that i had forgotten about. i can have my chicken, beef, and pork on separate shelves if i want to.....hehehehe we are just being silly with the newness of it. i think i will be very happy now. thank you all for your responses.......i just had to share my news with you all!
