    Default Moooving on Up!! Lalala!

MOVING ON UP TO THE TOP!!! Ok its not the top just the top of a hill over looking the beach where Dh and I were married. The beach is also 1/4 mile walk away, sweet!!

This is not a totally planned move I was going to try and keep my family in our 2 bedroom for another 6 to 9 months but God had other plans for us. Whats the saying "Man Plans, God laughs?"

First last month I was with out water for 3 days and it bit me in the butt. I got over it and carried on with life as usual.

Second I went and purchased a months worth of groceries and declared the grocery store was now off limits till next month. Except milk.

Third I went and re-told my landlord that we have had a leak under our sink for 5 weeks or so and he had been told 4 week's ago . This is a tricky leak it is not going in the cabinet its running down the concrete wall and under the cabinet and under the kick plate at the bottom.

After much heming and hawing on his part going under the sink, checking the hotwater heater (which is next to the sink cupboard) and checking the bathroom plumbing. The diagnosis is the copper line is coroded and the water is running thru the wall and the fix will be ripping out all the bottom cabinets, sink, tub plumbing, toilet plumbing and bathroom sink plumbing !!

Will he give us a deduction in rent when he shuts down the apartment for 3 weeks (that is if hes timely)? Do I look Like I'm supid? Greedy Guts was told that we will not be renewing our lease and will be using our last months rent for October.

So instead of having my home torn apart for most of a month and living in it, we are moving to a beautiful 3 bedroom with 2 baths and a WASHER AND DRYER!!!!

I am so excited my kids have started packing their toys and books and DH is looking at dogs to bring to the new home steps from the beach!!

Now to find boxes and clean out all the accumilated clutter to prepare for the move, which is only 1mile down the road, but thats far on a 16mile long island!

congulation proud for you. Not long ago i went through with the landlord not wanting do nothing to fix apartment so i found a better apt.lower rent washer and dryer which i didn't have at the other apt. then he came up wanting more money i told him if he pursed to go after more money i would run a big add in paper where he was advertising as quite and clean place i would tell the truth about things that went on.so when i moved and turn in keys he wished me well.

I posted pictures of the new place. Remember we live on an island and realestate is very limited so homes are small compared to state side standards. But its still going to be home!!
