3rd Time Newbie
I'm starting over... once again... not sure if any of the old-timers remember me or not. If I was choosing my screen name today, it would be "yo-yo frugal lady". I can do great at being frugal and embracing the simple life, and then I can do an about-face and be just like the stereotypical American.
Well, I'm here to come clean. Confess. And connect with others in a place where I used to feel so at home. This was always a great forum.... everyone was always accepting and kind, but when you screw up... would tell you where the buck stops! Actually, I'm not much of a forum person, because most forums are so disjointed and cold. But FV is different, like an extended family. I've been lurking a little the past couple of weeks, not quite ready to post again. I see that the names & faces may change, but that homey feeling remains!

Welcome back - it's nice to see you're here! I have a tendency to yo-yo where frugality is concerned in that when I'm under a lot of stress I tend to spend more than I should. But I figure it's a process....I've been learning new skills and habits here at FV and I'm far from being perfect and, like with any new skills and habits, I may stumble a bit along the way. Most people crawl before they walk and walk before they run, right? The important thing is to keep trying, and just the fact that you're back for the third time shows you are one to keep trying until you succeed!

Welcome back! It is a tough journey, but you can always jump back on the frugal path. I hate when I jump off and land in a mud puddle...happens to us all, I imagine.
