    thanks....some time soon, when I have a few moments to myself I'll bring you all up to speed.....we moved to CA in May, and life has been, well, interesting.....I am stuggling with lonliness, sadness............ nothing major really happening, just life (and being out in CA is making it really REALLY hard)

    Hugs to you IntlMom! There is no doubt about it, California is a foreign culture and it takes time to adjust.

    I moved from Boston to Portland, OR and it just felt so culturally different in terms of how people make friends, reach out and interact. It's a tough adjustment, I'm sure the kids help in this respect. Take care of yourself and know this little neighborhood is still right there for you.
