There's some solid advice here-- little I can add, except a hint for doing your resume: focus on your achievements at your current job, not just on your job title/responsibilities (there's a difference between being responsible for something and in actually doing it successfully/better than anyone else).

E.g., not just "office manager" but "saved 20% on supplies by researching alternate vendors," not just "account manager" but "managed 34 separate accounts, more than any other account manager, and increased sales by an unprecedented 35% in first six months in place."

An employer will want to see that you're able to solve problems, set and achieve goals, communicate, manage money, and make decisions. (I'm quoting from the advice given to me by a Fortune 300 CEO when I was looking for work. BTW, I got a job at that major company by writing a letter to him and concisely stating my credentials. It was a longshot, but it worked! He basically created a position for me.)

Best of luck to you in this most difficult time; I am pulling for (and praying for) you.
