Halloween costumes for pets- parade
Normally I think buying costumes for your animals is really over indulgent. So what did I do today. I bought my kitty a witch hat at the thrift store. She is currently sitting on my lap wearing it. If I can get a picture of her and post it I will.
Anyway, I thought it would be pretty fun and histerical to see our furball family in costume.
So if your pet has a halloween costume, tell us what it is and if you have a picture post it.
Right now poor kitty is hanging her head down low with her witch hat on.

The Dollar Tree has complete costumes for smaller dogs and cats... I know I saw 'accessories' for larger dogs there too...
I have a black cat and she is currently sporting a crocheted orange collar. THAT'S as dressed up as she will allow me to get her... well, after the whole Yule sweater incident anyways...
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

I saw those hats in a catalog not too long ago. They are so cute. My cat will not have anything to do with them.I love Lee!!

How fun! There isn't a chance our lab would let me get a costume on him.....I'd be wearing it before he would!
I've thought about getting something for the cat, he's much smaller and easier to deal with! I could be very wrong about him too....I'll let you know!

Fortunately she doesn't mind the dressing up part to much. However the reindeer antlers drove her nuts with the attached bell. She kept on moving her head to see where the noise was coming from.
Hope more people post pictures.

But isn't being 'over indulgent' what the pet stores count on??
I know my pets have far more treats in the cupboard than they need.......but I still look.
Love the pics!! The cats eyes match the hat in the first pic........YEOW! Zippy doesn't look too thrilled to have his costume on.........too much.
Keep posting the pics....love them!! It wasn't for Halloween, but I made my 'black girl' a coat with a matching hat.......which ended up looking like a 'chef hat'.......have a snap shot of it that I could scan....if I could find it. She was NOT real pleased with having the hat on.........the coat was okay......and both will wear them when it is cold outside......but the hat........NOT!!!

That is just too cute! I have a little white pitty puppy and my daughter keeps trying to put a pig snout on him and she has the little pink tail! He's not having any of that truck!!!!!

As a kid I used to regularly dress up my family cat in my dolls clothes. I didnt see any harm in it and I do think I was ahead of the dressing pets trend 25yrs ago.
I need ot ask my mum to scan the pic for me.Katie ~ Mummy of 2
