Please send prayers to my neighbor

What a tragedy. My prayers are going out to your friend and also to her son. May God give them the strength they need to get through this ordeal. When we see/hear of these tragedies, we really appreciate how special people are.

Although her struggles are far from over; Karen was released from the hospital (last Friday) she had hip surgery and has a shattered right ankle..... her healing will take months, not only physically but mentally

The wake was held for her husband on Monday, and funeral on Tuesday....

I have to say I have not seen a more moving funeral; Bob (her husband who passed in the accident) had 3 brothers and one sister...

The sister was not able to say much during the eulogy due to emotions, but the 3 brothers all addressed Karen and how much love they shared as well as Shawn (the driver) and how they knew how much he loved Bob...and how each of them would remain apart of their family.....

After such a tragic accident, it would be easy to become divided, I was so thankful for her that, that was not the case.
