    Question Making Your Bed?

How do you make your bed? Do you make your bed? How often do you make your bed?

I was thinking back to a convo with the bf about this. He's obsessed and swears by using 'hospital corners' for the flat sheet on the bed. I however used fitted sheets, a wool-blend blankie and then a comforter on top. I usually shake it all out and lay things flat, neat and square ...none of this fancy 'hospital corner' stuff, proper fold and fluff/turn down with decoration pillows. All my pillows are practical lol not for decoration. Oh...and I do 'make my bed' daily

Just curious to see how y'all, the fellow villagers make your bed. Or am I the only one who does the simple method?

I don't make my bed. I pull the covers back up, basically. I hardly see the bed, if at all, until I climb back into it at night, and I've just never developed the habit. If we are going to have company, I make it properly.

My bed is only "made up" when I change the sheets weekly. I do pull the covers up every morning after I get up.

I don't use flat sheets at all, never have lol. I just pull my blanket and quilt up in the morning. I don't go into my bedroom other then putting clothes away or sleeping, so I don't see the need to stress over how my bed is made, lol.

I make ours up everyday. I do make hospital corners and I put all the shams and pillows on it. My friends tease me about it looking ready for a magazine shoot.

I must have hospital corners. The flat sheet is put print side down and then folded back with the comforter to show the matching sheets. The decorator shams go on then the pillows next. When I crawl into bed I want nice tight sheets - no wrinkles at all.

I use a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. In the winter time I put a blanket and then a quilt on top. I usually put a king size sheet over the whole thing since my dog and cat sleep on the bed and I try to keep it as fur free as I can! LOL I do pull up and straighten everything in the morning for the same reason, I try to keep as much fur out as possible, although my cat like to sleep under the covers with me so I guess that is not likely! I make mine almost everyday before I take dd to school I do a power clean but on days(not that often) when I have to get "dressed" and be somewhere, it might not get made.

I like my bed made and I do it simply. Fitted and top sheet and the blanket on top. 3 pillows each side(one is the sham that comes off when we sleep).

No way, I don't make the bed. I get up get dressed, brush my teeth, have a cup of coffee, make lunch to take to work and play with the baby for a little while before we head out the door. No time for bed making. Plus I have to mess it up when I lay in it at night anyway :-).

Years ago I never made my bed. Now I just pull everything (sheet, down comforter, blanket, comforter) up over my pillows. Then place two decorative pillows on top. I realized how much neater my bedroom looks when the covers are atleast pulled up.

Now, if I could get my cat to fix the covers after her afternoon nap under them everything would be fine in that area. lol

I make my bed generally when I feel the urge to about once a week. I do use hospital corners cause I learned that when I took cna training and I like it. I just have comforter that I lay on top of the top sheet.
