Default Are you giving out treats for Halloween?

If so, what are you giving out?

I will only have two trick or treaters and those are the children of my boss. They stop by every year. I have them a little baggie of candy with a small pack of M&M's, a bite sized Milky Way bar, a snack sized bag of Teddy Grahams and some gum. Then I got the little boy a Transformers car and the girl a craft set that makes animals out of pipe cleaners.

I miss trick or treaters and wish I had more!

No, I'm not giving out anything. We're very broke right now and never get more than a handful of trick-or-treaters. Our neighbors all want to set up a blowup Halloween cat thingie in the center of our cul-de-sac and then pass out candy from there. They want all of us to hang out together. None of them have small children. We're the only ones and I think that they want to have it for our kids as well. Our friend next door said to send the kids over for candy whether they have costumes or not.

We won't be home. Our homeowner's association has a big party in the park from 3 - 6:30, then everyone that has kids goes trick or treating.

Not sure yet...I used to have 10 or 12 lil baggies of school supplies, lil toys and treats ready for the early birds but then again we get very little kids. Last year we had a caravan of families that used to live in the neighbourhood come back to see the changes and share stores Was a really nice treat!

May buy a box of 30 pcs of candy just in case - wonder how many of our family will end up eating them instead. Was thinking of having our belated (Cdn) Thanksgiving meal on that night - none of the siblings want to hand out candy and I don't mind but I also don't want my dad going up and down the stairs to the door either. What to do?

We are the only house on the street and only one of a few in the nearby area. I think we have only had one or two in 15 years. So, no, seriously doubt it.

I will be buying one of those small packages of chocolate that holds about 6-7 candies. I never get a lot of kids. If I run out well, that is it.

Yep, I have Fun Dip to pass out to the kiddos. I may pick up something else for the little ones (last year I bought a Playdough pack). We normally get a nice crowd of kids.

I'm dressing up and going to go trick-or-treating with my 5-year-old niece. So I won't be home. No one will be home at my house.

When my kids were little we used get a lot of kids now that they are grown we are getting maybe 5-6 kids.

    Funny how the neighborhood changes.

No kids never had trick or treaters... Always lived in an apt. The kids in this town always go to the "rich" parts of town so they get good candy lol fine by me!

I'll be taking Wesley trick-or-treating but I'll have a small bowl of candy for hubby to pass out to kids.

We live on a pretty busy street and we don't get lots of trick or treaters.
