Oh my, this thread is just too funny!! lol
I, too, prefer a simply white cotton pantie. They breath well, and rarely ride up. So I guess, you can also call me a Proud Granny Panty Wearer.

Ahmen!! I thought I was the only one! I have the 8" c-section scar so I pretty much care less what my undies look like as long as its over the scars because the elastic irritates the incision location.
Ahh the joys of motherhood!! I am a Cotton hanses girl all the way and I will wear them till they are litterly holding on by a thread!Katie ~ Mummy of 2

They are actually quite comfortable if you get them in the correct size. For some reason, a lot of women try to pretend that they wear a couple sizes smaller than their real size in underpants and bras. I guess because no one can see them? Or they get used to being a certain size in high school and never refit themselves as they age and have children?
At a certain point, I would think a woman would realize that her underpants are cutting into her thighs and that her breasts are falling out of the cups, but nope!

No granny panties here! I am short waisted as it is and they would likely go up to my bra! If I don't want to see Dh in white fruit of the loom briefs I can't very well wear granny panties can I.
I also agree thongs can be comfy but they must be the right size! I also learned no fancy charms on the thongs unless I am staying home. I used the restroom at work. I had a coworker go in after me and come running out to the salon floor and inform me I lost some jewelry IN THE TOILET BOWL. LOL the charm had fallen off the back of my thong underwear. I have yet to find the perfect pantie.
Boy shorts make my thighs look even bigger then they already are, and they ride up.
bikini's don't' hold in my belly, and on occasion even roll down. That's both uncomfortable and unattractive.
Granny panties nearly reach my bra, DH's hates them.
Thongs- Not enough cheek support. I do not have buns of steal. These are dh's preferred cut and he really doesn't understand why I feel the need for cheek support.
So I tend to buy high cut low rise. The only problem is the ones I like the best are 9.00 each pair!
But to answer the question , Yes I have some granny panties. They are the most comfortable but I would just die if I were in a car accident while I was unfortunate enough to be wearing a pair.

no granny panties here. I like the boycut panties.
But I had to laugh the "UnderRoos" comment. Yep, I am sure there are some incrimating photos somewhere in my parents mess of pictures staring me as a 7 year old Wonder Woman!

When I'm not pregnant, I love thongs or boy shorts. They are so much comfier to me than any high-waisted granny panties. And by high-waisted, I mean anything that goes above my hip level. Right now, I'm wearing lots of low-rise bikini style underpants. They are comfy, but I hate feeling like I have a panty line.

If I have elastic on my stomach it makes my stretch marks itch, so mine don't come up past my hips. I don't know what they are called, but they keep my business covered on both ends.

The closest I will ever come to granny panties are the panties that sit high on your hip with the straps that go around your waist but are missing fabric on the sides of your hip.
Even when my butt gets to be old and saggy, I'd rather wear nothing at all than be subjected to granny panties.
My figure allows for me to wear low-cut panties that bridge the gap between boy shorts and thongs. I have a small waist but a large butt, so these fit awesome:

I get all of my undies from La Senza when they're on sale for 5/$25. It goes great with all of my bras and I can actually match.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

I like high rise hipsters. They are comfortable and USUALLY don't show in the back when I wear jeans.
I tried on a thong once just to see what all the hype was about, and it was NOT for me. Not comfortable and not very attractive with my post c-section area. Hah!
I must be old.Sandy
