Smile Great news I quit my job

I quit My job and opened a childcare I have wanted to do this for many years. I have been open only a month and only have room for 1 more child. I am so happy and less stressed. It is great I am alos making more money than I did while working. I am also able to go back to school (taking on line classes).
I am home for my kids.

That is great - sometimes this is the best thing you can do - I recently did the same and it was a good decision for me.

Great courage to take this giant step and so happy it is working out for you. Keep us posted with how it's going. How many do you have?

That's great - how was the state licensing process?
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Everything was very easy. It took me about 2 months to get my registration. I am only a class a which allows me to have 6 preschoolers and 2 school age kids. I have 10 hours of training I need to do by Oct 2010 and need my CPR before jan 2010. I am attending a class Nov.14. I have also joined the food program which reimburses me for feeding healthy foods. It is all going well. I am able to take state pay and most of my parents are atending college.
