Default this isnt house hunters hgtv

I had posted how we have wanted to move from our current home as i am very unhappy here so we began our house hunting journey this weekend what an eye opener

I saw a home yesterday that would be perfect for our family we put in a bid but unfortunity so did alot of other people Please send out some positive thoughts my way I really would appreceiate it

Now that being said this house hunting adventure is nothing like TV I havent bought a house in over 20 years and I cannot believe how some people live We have looked at some foreclosures the houses were empty but the wreckage remained,. Holes dirt garbage what once was beautiful properties totally trashed I am sorry that peoples lost there homes but my God how could anyone let a property get in that condition The prices were good but they were all total guts I am willing to spend the money and the work invovled but the process of bidding getting yourhopes up and then losing is disheartening I will let you guys know if we get the house Thanks for the good wishes

    Best of luck!

When I was house hunting a while back I was astonished at the condition in which people would show their homes. Dishes in the sink, crumbs on the counter, laundry on the floor...When I showed my house I was barking out orders like a drill seargent and cleaning like mad to make it is as nice as possible!

When we were looking to buy a house (a little over 2 years ago) some of the homes are really disgusting. BUT the foreclosures were ABSOLUTELY uninhabitable until they were gutted and remodeled. The banks' asking prices were totally unreasonable.

So we just kept looking we made offers on THREE houses and were outbid all three times. It was such a roller coaster ride. Then when found our house, made an offer and it was accepted.

FYI - TWO of the three houses we were outbid on got water in them this past spring when we had two floods in 7 days. They were not in the flood zone and had no record of previous floods. SO I took it as fate kept us out of those houses and put us in this one.

Keep your chin up! The right house WILL come along!

Best wishes. The only thing more stressful than buying is selling.

I have been amazed at how some people live. And they think nothing of it.
