my 1st Grocery challange
ok
I have been typically spending 90-120 a week at kroger for months..and not getting any thing extra just generics and meats..rarely spent the money on stock pilling, beauty products and freezer foods...
In september i spent $589 in groceries...=(
2 weeks In to October i started couponing..i made 2 binders (because i needed more room) with baseball proctor sheets
my first time...i had 112.00 worth of groceries..but it only cost me 49 ( they told me they doubled upto a dollar, when really it was .99 but they doubled the 1.00 anyways..and i think they double some more then once)
my first trip of the month was 85.00...but they got smaller and smaller in totalls...starting with the 49.00...i rarely shop at kroger now because it cost me more usually..im surprised to find the savings i got at UKROPS (gorumet) and CVS
My total for October is $433.00 plus this was a longer month and i started savings half way through the month
and i got soo much!! my freezer is stuff with pizzas, steamers, meat, veggies, heat and eats...
and i got lots of different juices for the kids..which i wasnt getting before because they cost so much
my cabinets were looking great but i used quite a bit over the weekend
my bathroom stockpilling is going great, my medicine cabinet is full to bursting
and im having so much fun but my only problem is i want to do it all the time so thats probably why i spent what i did this month

Most excellent!
Love that you say that it's fun; I find it quite the stimulating challenge, too.

Congrats! One of these months you'll be so far ahead, you'll need nothing but the staples.
